Larissa “Lolly” Hopwood (she/her/they) is a long-time resident and champion of Doylestown Borough. As a children’s musician and author for over twenty years, Lolly has entertained and engaged thousands of families, fostering a community of caring and inclusivity. For more than two decades, Lolly has been a dedicated supporter and advocate of our Doylestown businesses. Lolly has been a valued and visible employee of both Siren Records and the Doylestown Bookshop. From her experience as someone who has actually worked in our town, Lolly knows, firsthand, the significant impact that the pandemic has had to our local economy and our valued small business. Lolly understands these businesses, because she knows them, from the employees to the business owners. Lolly brings both her empathy and spirit of collaboration to help rebuild a thriving business community and sustain it. As a local grassroots community organizer, Lolly has put forth calls to action and created platforms that have empowered and uplifted voices that are often left out of the political process. Lolly brings a fresh perspective to our local politics while also having her finger on the pulse of our town. Lolly is the proud mother of a 12-year-old and they share their home with their dog Dazey. Lolly is eager for the opportunity to represent this community that she loves and cares for in so many vital ways.
